| Hey guys! I know it's been FOREVER and a day since I updated. Sorry. School has been crazy... like, crazy terrible. I think all of my teachers lost their minds over Christmas break... but that's just my personal opinion.
Christmas was great! I got to spend time with my family and with Aaron's. That was really nice. I enjoyed doing family things together. I got lots of stuff for Christmas... pretty much everything I asked for, and a few extras.
New Year's was wonderful, too. I went to Aaron's house on New Year's Eve, and he and I and Mikaela and Rapheal and Stephanie all had a blast. We watched movies and blew stuff up. It was really fun!!! The next day Aaron and I went and hung out with Mr. Mikey some, and got to see Brooks. That was good.
Then school started back... and was awful... Tests and papers and projects and CRAP. It's completely ridiculous. No doubt. So after like a week and a half of it, I couldn't take any more. Last Tuesday night, I pretty much had a nervous breakdown on Aaron, bless his heart. I got all upset and told him I just wanted a day away from everything, and I wanted him to make it happen. We agreed to take a road trip last Saturday, and he planned out for us to leave Hattiesburg and go to McComb, then head to Natchez, then to Vicksburg, then to Jackson, and back through Meridian so he could bring me home.
He'd been planning to go to Crusader Day at Carey with me Friday, but late Thursday night Mr. Mikey called and needed him to go to Waynesboro and get some stuff Friday morning then take it to him in Slidell Friday afternoon, so that messed up our idea. It ended up being okay, though, because I got finished at Carey just shortly before he got back from Waybo, so I rode to Slidell with him and got to see my Mr. Mikey too! Then, rather than me driving home Friday night and driving back early Saturday morning, I just stayed down there. We got up Saturday and headed on our trip, but made it halfway between McComb and Natchez and 98 was closed, so we just went back to 55 and headed on to Vicksburg. It was a totally wonderful day. I'm really glad he arranged it for me.
Friday I also got great news from Carey. I'm in with a free ride!!! Go me! That was such wonderful news because it means that, not only can I go where I want for school, for free, but I can also keep my original plans for the rest of my life, without having to worry a whole bunch about one costing me the other. Isn't it wonderful?!
I have a killer Calculus test tomorrow, so I'm headed out. I love you Ayron! You'll always be my sunshine. |
